Family Weekend
This weekend we are being kept busy with the girls' hockey tournament. Brooke's team lost their first game Thursday night, but tied their game this morning and looked great. We go back in a little bit until after midnight tonight! I love watching them play!!!
Brittany and Mike left at 3:30 this morning to head to California so that Brittany can meet his parents for the first time. She's so nervous!!! I'm sure they will love her as much as we do!
Ronnie spent time with his family yesterday and was so pleased when his neice started saying his name and actually put her little chubby arms up to him. It was the first time she's ever wanted to go with him. It made him sad, though, that we can't just snap our fingers and have our child on the way. He's very ready to get things started, bless his heart!
Our anniversary is next Sunday, the 25th. Normally I'm the one to plan things, but lo and behold he told me that he's made reservations for us. He has never done that!! (not exactly the romantic type!) So I'm very excited and very much looking forward to it...
Happy News: One of my best friend has her transfer today... Go AMY!!!!! I can't wait to hear that she's pregnant!!! (I'm betting money it's going to be twins!)
Sad News: A dear friend lost her son this past week. It makes me realize just how much I need to treasure every moment I have with my daughters and how very lucky we are to have them. HUGS Kim.....
